I am sure many have brang up this topic before but is MW2 dead? Many people continue to play cod4 and now bc2 is out and more and more are playing that. Ive played through the cod series and seems like this game with never get competitve without dedicated servers. Any thoughts?

battlefield will attract a different mind, but I will agree with you about the dedicated part we will see obviously 32+ teams say otherwise and there are leagues that are coming out in the near future with MW2. WOGL starts there opening tournament the week after this one ends so plenty of competition even if TWL rules are a bit noob.

I think with what we've been given to work with we have done more than i ever expected with the lack of dedicated servers. I wouldn't be playing the game if it weren't for all the tourneys popping up and growing interest and support for MW2.

couldnt have said it any better. although it seems like theres less and less teams as time progresses, these tournies/leagues are still active, fun, and exciting. Im glad ppl have supported this game thus far and continue to do so and hopefully the rumors of dedis will come true to rly boost this game to where it should be with most cod4 teams most likely switching over.

Hopefully the game stays up and running. Activision has kicked both the IW CEOs who were in charge of making the game. People don't know how the future for this game will unravel. If this game was built right at the beginning it would still have gone strong. But hopefully these guys keep bringing up tournaments and we will see how it turns out.
